Dr. Ben Kim-Gervey
Research + Data Strategies Lead

Ben’s roles and responsibilities include methodological design, qualitative and statistical analysis, and data modeling. He’s been working in market intelligence and insights research for nearly 30 years. He co-founded KGR+C in 2012. Ben has an MA, MSc and PhD in Social-Cognitive Psychology and Quantitative Methods from New York University GSAS and a BA in Psychology from Columbia University. He has been designing, executing, analyzing and delivering market and EDI-related research since 1992, conducting studies on a wide range of commercial, organization, governmental and internal organizational issues.

Ben has worked with a variety of clients in the Technology, Non-Profit, Entertainment, Governmental, Pharmaceuticals, Advertising, Music, Finance, and Management Consulting sectors. He has worked extensively with multi-cultural audiences, and conducted global research with consumers, employees, and Professionals. His work at KGR+C has addressed a broad range of EDI issues, from implicit bias in database construction, EDI Assessments and assessment program development, and analysis of EDI barriers in systemic and organizational practices.

Dr. Connie Kim-Gervey
Equity, Diversity + Inclusion Research Lead

Connie has a Master’s in Education from Harvard and a PhD in Developmental Psychology from New York University.  Her focus during her academic career was on Ethnic and Multiple Identity Development, where she examined the roles of race, ethnicity, identity, culture, context and social settings on psycho-social well-being and social engagement. Her most recent academic work examines the role of Ethnicity and Ethnic Identification in Civic Participation and Voting Behaviors. 

Connie has worked in applied and academic research positions since 1998, with nearly all of her research focusing on equity, diversity, and inclusion. She has worked with audiences of all ages, using observational, qualitative and quantitative techniques to center the voices of non-dominant peoples, uncover and overcome systemic, organizational and interpersonal barriers to engagement, equity and inclusion.

Dr. Connie Kim-Gervey is also a therapist specializing in centered counseling for BIPOC, People of Color and LGBTQAI2+.
